Useful before persuasive.
A HungryReader page must help a reader make a better decision even if they never click an affiliate link.
Evidence and sourcing
Each new review begins with a book-specific source pack: verified bibliographic facts, reliable primary or library sources, and original editorial reading notes. We do not rewrite other publications’ reviews, manufacture quotations, or publish unsupported Goodreads ratings or Kindle availability claims.
Drafting and human approval
Automation may produce a structured draft, but a human editor checks factual claims, originality, spoiler safety, usefulness, and the final rating. Drafts are excluded from public pages and search engines until approved.
Ratings
The model never assigns a rating. An editor sets the HungryReader score after reviewing the complete article and its evidence. We explain the book’s strengths and limitations so the number is never the only conclusion.
Affiliate independence
Amazon and Kindle links are clearly marked. Affiliate eligibility, prices, formats, and Kindle Unlimited catalogue availability can change, so readers should confirm the current offer on Amazon. Compensation does not buy a favourable review.
Corrections and updates
We update factual mistakes and materially outdated information. The structured data records publication and modification dates, and substantial corrections should be reflected in the article rather than hidden.
